My web sites
In this area you will find links to almost every website on the Internet that I have either created or made a significant contribution. Any site thay no longer has a place on the web is probably not listed here. Also note that a few sites that I have made are for my high school and are no longer maintained by me.
- BluHelix Studios
-
BluHelix Studios is my next home page on the Internet. Among many things, it hosts my blog, a community calendar, and my software releases.
- Journal of the Association for History and Computing
-
This is the home page for the Journal of the Association for History and Computing. The Journal of the Association of History and Computing is a fully peer-reviewed journal and started online publication in June of 1998.
This was a re-design project for the Berglund Center and included the design and implementation of an XML database system. I left the Berglund Center before completing the migration.
- Portal on Korea
-
At Pacific University’s portal on Korea you will find information on Korea covering topics such as gender roles, the military, Korean culture, and the the Korean War. The portal also includes links to various other authoritative sites where you can find more information on Korea as well as a resources page dedicated to showing where additional research on the subject can be done.
This was a re-design project for the Berglund Center.
- Don’t Let ‘em Fade
-
“Don’t Let ‘em Fade” is a multimedia project featuring interviews with the friends and relatives of soldiers who fought in the Vietnam War as well as Vietnam veterans themselves.
This was a re-design project for the Berglund Center.
- CS445 Web Forum
-
I created this simple web forum complete with user registration, moderator functions, and an admin center for my final project in CS445 Intro to Database Management Systems, which I took fall semester of my Junior year at Pacific University. The forum is written in PHP to interface with a MySQL server. During its testing phase, I had several friends post in the forum. The structure is notably similar to my existing forum.
- Math Club Home
-
The official home page of the Pacific University Math Club. My roommate at the time, Kevin Shawver, and I became officers for the Math Club our sophomore year in order to build and maintain the club’s first website. Although Kevin and I completed the template that year, it was not until our Junior year that the site went live. Kevin is now the club’s Math-Physics Liaison.
I posted a redesign on August 30th, 2006 but it was never published. The redesign can be viewed at http://library.bluhelix.com/mathclub_2006/
- Matt’s Website
-
Matt’s Website is the website about Matt. This is my homepage and is the site to go for all the little extras that I decide the place there.
(Original web site in ASP classic)
- The Official Globalsoft Home Page
-
Globalsoft is the “company” that I founded in 9th grade. It is the place where I publish most of my calculator and computer programs.
(Original web site in ASP classic)
- AP Calculus Home
-
The resource center for AP Calculus. This website contains everything from a description on the calculus class offered at Glencoe High School to useful information and help on the AP exam. I created this site for my project in web design. This website is no longer maintained by myself. I don’t really know who maintains this website, or if anyone does.
- Glencoe Tide Football
-
Although it was a team effort to complete this website, most of the design and construction was done by myself. The Glencoe Tide Football site maintains a collection of registration forms to join the football program, which includes leagues for all grades 3-12, and general information. I no longer maintain this website. I believe that it is still maintained by the GHS web design classes.
The current tide football site can be found at http://www.hsd.k12.or.us/glencoe/athletics/football/
- Crimson Times
-
The online version of the Crimson Times, Glencoe High School’s student newspaper. Being the very first Crimson Times Web Editor, I was responsible for creating the first website. The site includes the latest issue of the Crimson Times and several other features exclusive to the web version. I no longer maintain this website. It is maintained by the Crimson Times staff.
The current Crimson Times site can be found at http://www.hsd.k12.or.us/glencoe/Crimson%20Times/
- CIMsucks – The Premier Anti-CIM Source
-
A rebellion against CIM! This website never lasted too long and was only created because of my frustration with the failed Unofficial Glencoe High School Website project.
- Thinking in Bed By Dennis Lee
-
Strange that a 10th grade English project made it here, but I can’t get into the account to take it down…
- Matthew’s Website – StarCraft
-
The second website I ever created (a revamp of the original site). Just like the name says, this site focuses on the world of Starcraft.
